This week's
photo is of a Rolled, Tapered Panel (RTP)
Tank Connection silo construction
project designed for mass flow of a dry
bulk material. The tanks shown were
built utilizing a special synchronized
jacking process that allowed both tanks
to be erected simultaneously from the
ground up, while keeping construction
workers on the ground. This
technique allowed erection time to be
cut in half.
