To Clear the Blockage

With Yuletide near, production reached its peak.
The Xmas pud plant strove to meet demand.
But suddenly, the future seemed quite bleak,
as fate decreed what no one ever planned.
'Twixt bin and outlet powder ceased to flow.
Still, as dead of night in pharaoh's tomb.
Production ceased, and heads began to roll
as product stuck within the silos womb.

A hue and cry resounded through the land,
as folks around wailed "What on earth to do?".
The manager tried hard to make a stand.
But obviously, he didn't have a clue.
Brute force was tried, by way of massive knock.
It flailed the ears with sound as loud as thunder.
The contents stayed, as solid as a rock.
It merely broke some silo parts asunder.

Exploding cannons blew, to no avail,
despite the cause of local devastation.
Alas, like rodding all did fail,
and despair grew, mid swelling desperation.
Floe Wright, a new young employee,
spoke, soft of voice but clarity of diction.
"That's not the way" quoth Floe, "Please hark at me.
Just measure shear and wall effects of friction".
Ms. Floe Wright
The tests were done and retrofit applied.
And all worked well, the plant resumed its trade.
The moral is - That science will provide,
if you follow in the teachings of this maid.
