Neponset, IL -- Martin Engineering, the world leader in air cannon systems, has introduced the new Martin® Six Shooter™ Air Cannon System, a patent-pending system with integral controls that allows one air cannon to supply powerful blasts to improve material flow at up to six points in a vessel.
Air cannons provide a powerful blast of air to improve the flow of bulk materials through storage and process vessels. Applications include the recovery of solids from storage bins and silos and the elimination of buildups in cement plant preheater towers.
The Martin Six Shooter Air Cannon System uses double braided stainless steel hoses to reach up to six discharge ports from a central location. By serving multiple outlets from one air reservoir, the Martin Six Shooter System is ideal for installations where multiple discharge points are located in close proximity.
By separating the air cannon from the discharge points, the Martin Six Shooter System shelters its working components from dust, gases, and high temperature conditions, making it a wise choice for high-temperature, high-dust, high-stress applications.
With a number of discharge points served from one air reservoir, the Martin Six Shooter System simplifies installation and maintenance procedures, and improves worker safety. Martin Engineering also offers “turnkey” installation for all its air cannon systems.
Founded in 1944, Martin Engineering is the world leader in making bulk materials handling cleaner, safer, and more productive. Martin Engineering technologies control dust and spillage from belt conveyors and promote the movement of bulk solids from storage and through industrial processes.
