NEPONSET IL -- A new facility with more than four times the floor space holds the promise of expanded capabilities for Martin Engineering in Brazil. The newly purchased and larger facility allows Martin Engineering Brazil to expand its inventory and manufacturing capabilities to boost local production and serve additional customers.

The new facility, located at Rua Estacio de Sa, 2104, Jardim Santa Genebra, Campinas, will be home for the manufacturing, sales, marketing and accounting activities for the Brazilian business unit of Martin Engineering, the world’s leading supplier of systems and services to improve bulk materials handling.

Martin Engineering Brazil’s new home provides over 5.150 m² (55,000 square feet) of space. This includes more than 2.400 m² (25,000 square feet) of manufacturing space, four times manufacturing space at the previous facility.

Martin Engineering Brazil will continue to operate an engineering office in Vitória (Brazil), and a service center to coordinate installation and maintenance activities for Acelor Mittal Tubarao, Brazil’s largest steelmaker, also located in Vitória.

Technologies offered by Martin Engineering Brazil include systems to reduce fugitive material from belt conveyors, including belt cleaners, transfer point sealing systems, and dust collection and suppression systems. Also available from Martin Engineering Brazil are air cannons and vibration systems to improve the flow of bulk materials from storage and through chutes, screens, and feeders.
