Peru, IL -- Cougar Industries, Inc. is pleased to announce that its B-Series Model B3X-1000-1A-4 electric industrial vibrator is UL Listed for use within hazardous electrical locations including all areas classified as Class II, Divisions 1 & 2, Groups E, F & G. The Model B3X-1000 is specifically targeted to provide material flow solutions for bins within the mining, grain and feed, and specialty chemical industries.

The Model B3X-1000 is an electric motor driven eccentric rotary vibrator. It is capable of being used to promote the flow of difficult powders and bulk solids from bins, hoppers and silos. Promoting the flow of material requires overcoming the cohesive strength of the material and the friction between the material and bin wall within the cone section of the vessel. These electric vibrators are specifically designed to do this efficiently and within a hazardous electrical location.

This industrial vibrator provides a force output of 1,000lbs and operates at 1750rpm. It can be operated with either 230V or 460V 3-phase power. Along with the Class II, Division 1 & 2 UL approval these specifications allow the electric vibrator to be used to promote and reestablish material flow in bins with dry and moist bulk materials.

Cougar Industries, Inc. has been providing material flow-aids for over 40 years and offer cost-effective solutions, expert technical assistance and complete service and support.
