Larvik, Norway -- Unitor Chemicals AS (Norway) invests in new Forberg® mixing line for detergents.
The Norwegian based company Unitor Chemicals AS has invested in a new mixing line from Forberg International AS. The Forberg Twin Shaft Batch Mixer F-1000 is the heart of the new production line and has a nominal capacity of 1000 litres per batch.
We have vastly improved the quality of the end product and increased the capacity of our production line after installing the Forberg F-1000 mixer. The batch time has been considerably decreased with this new mixer and we are really pleased with the performance; says Rune Kristiansen (Factory Manager of Unitor Chemicals AS).
Unitor Chemicals are producing powdered detergents in the Forberg Mixer. The raw materials are fed from big-bags directly into the mixer. Mixing and spraying of liquids take place in the same operation. Discharge from the mixer takes place through two large bomb doors in the bottom of the mixer and into a reception bin with screw feeder. From there the ready mixed product is filled into barrels. The barrels are automatically transported onto a scale and filled with product until the preset weight is reached.
Forberg International is the owner of the original twin shaft paddle mixing technology and has more than 30 years experience of producing Forberg mixers and machines for the global processing industries. Areas of expertise are mixing, coating, drying, cooling and steam heat treatment for various processing industries.
