Melfi to exhibit at Rockwell Automation Fair

Concord, Canada -- Melfi Technologies will be exhibiting at the Rockwell Automation Fair, November 11-12 in Anaheim California in booth 522. Operating live in the booth will be our Melfi Feed© LIW and Melfi Extrude© compounding system controller representing a typical continuous mixing application.

We have developed our Melfi Feed system to directly retrofit the typical proprietary microprocessor equipment supplied by any of the popular LIW feeder manufacturers. It is based on the ControlLogix and CompactLogix hardware platforms, using open standard RSLogix5000 programming software with Rockwell Automation RSView32 or PanelView Plus HMI.

The field communications to the Hardy Instruments loadcell amplifiers are open standard Ethernet/IP components. We have created a cost effective solution using non-proprietary hardware to simplify the gravimetric feed control process and can supply only a single feeder controller, or can instrument your entire plant.

Melfi Technologies is an authorized Rockwell Automation Solution Provider focusing on dry solids handling, specifically direct Loss-in-Weight feeder control using an Allen-Bradley PAC. Additionally our system responsibility can encompass ancillary equipment including continuous mixing, processing and extrusion.
