Comminution 06 : 5th International Comminution Symposium

Perth, Australia -- This, the 5th International Comminution Symposium, Comminution 06, will be held in Perth, Australia from 15-17 March 2006, and is sponsored by the Minerals Gazette, published by Australia's Resource Information Unit.

Themes: The event will deal with all aspects of the comminution of ores and coal, including:

-Crushers and crushing circuits
-Grinding mills and circuits
-Control, simulation and optimisation of comminution processes
-Plant operations

Call for Papers

Papers are invited for presentation at Comminution 06. All papers must be written and presented in English, the official language of the conference.

Abstract Submission

Short abstracts, of no more than 150 words, should be sent to Dr. Barry Wills by email by the end of September 2005.

Draft Papers

If accepted, draft papers will be required. These will be available to delegates on CD-ROM at the conference.

Final Papers

Final papers should be submitted no later than one month after the end of the conference. These will be refereed, and, if accepted, published in a special Comminution issue of Minerals Engineering. Corresponding authors will receive one complimentary copy of this special issue. All other delegates may purchase the special issue from Elsevier Science Ltd at a discounted rate.
