| The Freeman Technology FT4 Powder Rheometer |
Welland, UK -- Freeman Technology Ltd has entered into an agreement with independent service laboratory Particle Technology Labs Ltd (PTL) (Chicago, US) whereby PTL will offer a new powder characterization service using the Freeman FT4 Powder Rheometer. The service will be launched at Pittcon 2005 (Orlando, US; Feb 28 – Mar 4, 2005) where PTL will show the FT4 on its booth (#2418).
PTL is a long-established laboratory highly experienced in the characterization of fine particles. Operating under current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), it offers analytical services to many of the world’s leading pharmaceutical, environmental and food, health and cosmetics companies.
Richard Karuhn, founder and CEO of PTL commented: “We are always keen to expand our services especially those that complement our existing portfolio. We see a growing demand from existing and potential clients for information on the flow properties of their powders and blends. It is for that reason we are establishing this new powder characterization service. Currently PTL offers a broad spectrum of particle characterization services, which can be used in conjunction with the FT4 Powder Rheometer to provide an insight into powder flowability not previously attainable.”
