Drum Inserts Extends Steel Drum Life

Plymouth, MA -- CDF Corporation, a quality manufacturer with over 30 years experience as a leader in plastic liners used in many of the world's most popular containers, announces the DrumSaver™ inserts for steel drums.

DrumSaver steel drum inserts significantly reduce container cleaning time and cost. Drums that have been replaced in the past can now be reused. DrumSaver inserts are great for mixing, pumping and storing nearly any liquid, powder or paste.

DrumSaver inserts protect steel drums from your product and ensures product purity in reconditioned steel drums. There are a variety of DrumSaver inserts to select from; the straight-sided inserts fit smoothly into new steel drums and are ideal when using follower-plates. Accordion inserts have flexible, pleated side walls that accommodate variations in reconditioned drum heights. Combination inserts combine a straight-sided design with a band of accordion pleats to accommodate both drum height variations and follower-plate use.

The seamless, vacuum-formed DrumSaver inserts are secured in place with a contoured lip that snaps over an open-head drum's top bead for quick and easy installation. It's this superior lip design and uniform distribution of material that allows easy drum closure with a standard ring and bolt or lever-lock assembly.

All inserts are made from low-density polyethylene, unless otherwise noted. Polypropylene inserts are available for hot-fill applications, up to 300°F. DrumSaver inserts are ideal for use with chemicals, inks, adhesives, greases, paints, coatings, silicones and food. CDF also manufactures inserts for plastic and fiber drums.
