company servicing the Plastics, Foods, and Bulk Materials Handling
Industry Sectors seeks 21st century, skilled industrial sales reps
in specific territories.
Basic requirements:
Working as a territory sales rep with our firm means, you will be
working in close contact with our SALES MANAGER, sales staff, and
other estimating, engineering, and procurement staff. A customer
service attitude, excellent organizational skills, spreadsheet
computer skills, blue print reading, mechanical aptitude, materials
and metal fabrication knowledge, mechanical / electrical systems
engineering expertise, diligence, and attention to detail will be
the characteristics required.
Rep activities:
Using his or her industrial sales experience the rep will cultivate
the assigned territory through telemarketing, resourcefulness,
industry awareness, and leads given to the rep by the SALES MANAGER.
The rep may be motivated to travel to and from perspective client
locations, perform job walks with clients, take digital pictures,
evaluate existing plant equipment, client drawings, as well as draw
sketches of floor plans, equipment arrangements, stack-ups, pipe
routings, and flow diagrams and forward to the SALES MANAGER for
further review. The rep will be an extension of our company goals,
services, engineering, and manufacturing capabilities as well as
becoming a pivotal part of the TEAM.
Tools available to the rep:
· Our current aggressive sales presence and active sales leads in
your area
· Our company website, continuously updated by our own staff
· Our online catalog, continuously updated by our own staff
· Printed version of our online catalog for your marketing
campaigns, bi-yearly printed and updated
· Sales, engineering, drafting, and installation staff of our
company
· Our shop welding, steel fabrication capabilities (custom
fabrication also)
· Controls engineering capabilities
The rep must have:
· Professional office setup with phone, fax (home office OK if
suitable business environment)
· Windows based computer and printer, ACAD14, e-mail and internet
connection
· Desire to develop this relationship into a career
· Understanding of IMPORTANCE of confidentiality in all aspects of
work, communications, and documents with the COMPANY and COMPANY
clients.
Compensation:
Compensation will be commission based, with excellent potential.
Additional compensations are negotiable based on rep
performance.
Territories where representation is
needed:
· R12 NY& New England States (CT, Mass, RI, VT, NH, ME)
· R10 TN, KY
