High Performance Bagging Technology - Reduced to the Essentials
------------------------------------------------------------

Compact bagging line from BMH Chronos Richardson offers customers
lower purchase prices

To be able to offer customers a low cost solution in the high
performance bagging sector- whilst maintaining quality
construction BMH Chronos Richardson designed a compact standard
bagging line.

This is the CHRONO-FILL TM SpeedLine a high performance bagging
line which was introduced to the market by BMH Chronos Richardson
at Interpack '99 in Düsseldorf. CHRONO-FILL TM SpeedLine was
specially designed to handle free flowing bulk solids i.e.
plastic pellets, rice, fertiliser, feed pellets or grains in
standard open-mouth bags made from paper, PE, woven PP or
combinations of these materials. Furthermore the machine design
allows permeable or non-permeable bag materials to be handled
successfully.

CHRONO-FILL TM SpeedLine is shipped pre-assembled with the
control panel already integrated in the frame, enabling it
to be started-up quickly and with minimal site preparation
work (Plug 'n Play). This pay back this gives is low installation
costs. The high degree of standardisation on this product
provides another positive effect on cost optimisation.

Several plants are currently operating successfully with
end-users in Ireland and Austria bagging animal feeds, seeds
and animal litter.

Compact design - increased process safety

The minimal space requirements of this bagging line are derived
from its compact design and construction. Simplification of
its functional steps and the "reduction" of individual
assembly groups have made this possible. In particular the
system does not rely on pre-positioned automatic bag placing.
Instead, a pair of suction cups on the top and bottom
surfaces of the bags provides reliable bag mouth opening.

Steady and guided bag transfer

To fill the bag, it is swivelled over the closed spout, the
spout opens and clamps the bag on the spout in the filling
position the filling process then starts. After filling,
the spout is retracted and a transfer device, which
continuously feeds the bag to the bag closing system,
moves the bag. Throughout this whole process the bag is
permanently guided and kept closed which guarantees process
safety and optimum bag closing quality and integrity.

Simple operation and cleaning

Operation is effected via an easy to read operating terminal.
Any malfunction is indicated on the monitor and a prompting
system helps the operator resolve the error.

When changing to different bag sizes or lengths, infinitely
variable height adjustment of the conveyor is carried out
automatically via the operating terminal.

A sliding interlocked door allows easy access to the machine
and facilitates internal cleaning.

Bagging solutions tailored to customer's needs.

Hopper Weighing Systems for Poultry Batching
------------------------------------------------------------

GAINESVILLE, Ga.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 18, 2001--GS-3000
hopper weighing systems from Gainco, Inc. offer heightened
versatility and control for poultry batching, weighing and
distributing applications.

Completely engineered and built in the USA, they provide a
comprehensive range of hardware and software configurations
that can be applied easily to individual processing requirements.

Designed and constructed in stainless steel for rugged,
dependable performance, weighing accuracy, and user-friendly
interfaces, Gainco hopper weighing systems are used for
diverse poultry industry applications, such as batching
into vats or totes, weighing/distributing fronts to multiple
deboners, and continuous weighing of product portions into
or out of a specific process.

The equipment can accommodate standard or bi-directional
hopper weighing capacities ranging from 10 lbs. to 500 lbs.

Other Gainco hopper system features include a battery-backed
memory for recording the total number of dumps, the total
weight, and all setup parameters. Versatile controllers
provide ease and flexibility in program setup and operation,
while "auto-zero" software automatically adjusts for any
product accumulation on the hopper surfaces, thereby
assuring greater weighing accuracy.

If desired, a host PC can be connected to multiple hopper
systems for centralized reporting, setup control, and yield
analysis.

With Gainco's hopper weighing systems, numerous configurations
are allowable, including a variety of distribution conveyors,
ceiling or floor-mounted installation options, product
in-feed conveyors managed by the controller on/off output
signal, as well as buffer hoppers mounted over the weigh
hoppers to ensure uninterrupted product flow.

Also available is Gainco's bi-directional weighing hopper
model, which allows fully programmable alternate filling
of two different sized containers (or containers of the
same size) automatically, accurately, and with minimal
operator involvement.

The bi-directional operation improves productivity, along
with saving space by consolidating the functions of two
conventional hoppers or floor scales. Flexibility is also
enhanced by alternately filling boxes of varying sizes,
according to differing customer requirements. Whenever
desired, these hoppers are programmable to fill boxes of
one side only.

Terra Systems Receives Patent for Pneumatic Accelerator
------------------------------------------------------------

PAYSON, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 16, 2001--Terra Systems
Inc. (Pink Sheets: TSYI) is pleased to announce that it has
received a patent on its pneumatic accelerator.

The U.S. Patent Office has issued Patent No. 6,170,768 for
this unique invention, the "Pneumatic Accelerator For
Multi-Phase Material Acceleration Dispersion And Conveyance."
The inventors are employees of the company and they have
irrevocably assigned exclusive rights of use to TSYI.

Terra Systems filed 31 patent claims on Aug. 28, 2000, all
31 claims were allowed on Oct. 31, 2000, and the patent was
issued Jan. 9, 2001.

Reacting to this positive and important event, Chairman/Chief
Executive Officer Clayton Timothy commented, "We are both
proud and delighted to have the U.S. Patent Office allow
all 31 of our functional patent claims and to issue a patent
for them, all in less than six months. Issuance of this
patent objectively confirms the unique technical aspects of
our pneumatic accelerator.

"The legal protection provided by the patent will enable Terra
Systems to more openly present our product to potential
users in the future and to more vigorously promote its
adoption and use by them. In fact, we hope this new liberty
will help us to successfully conclude negotiations with
several major corporations with whom we have been having
discussions for a number of months."

Terra Systems Inc. was incorporated in Utah in 1996 and
is presently a development-stage company. It is primarily
engaged in the development and commercialization of its
patented pneumatic accelerator. This device is a gas
linear particle accelerator which conveys and processes
bulk materials at high velocity in a particle isolated
state, using air as the medium of movement.

This technology operates efficiently at ambient temperatures
and at low pressures and does not use water, the generally
more costly traditional alternative for processing bulk
materials. Virtually all organic and inorganic bulk
materials used in basic industries can be more economically
separated and classified by our dry-process technology.

This capability facilitates a number of associated procedures,
including: drying, micropulverizing, mixing, forming,
conveying, and loading. In addition, bulk materials can
be beneficiated in important ways including moisture
reduction, ash reduction, Btu enhancement, and
electro-customization.

Our system can perform multiple tasks, needs less maintenance,
requires no chemical additives, and can improve the
surrounding environmental quality. Opportunities are
seen for many applications in an array of large industries
including power generation, agriculture, mining,
environment, construction, ceramics, and materials
transportation.

Mr. Pepper needs to remove nonferrous metal from bulk material:

I would like to remove non ferrous metal prior to a pelleting
process. The material is ~30lbs/cu ft and ~ 3/4" to granular
in size. Will use drum magnet and large scalping for most
undesirables. Perhaps pneumatic separation?
