Our goal is to provide information to improve your business
by using the resources available on the internet.

CAN YOU HELP US?
WE NEED YOUR OPINION ABOUT A NEW FEATURE!

We are trying out a new feature, an on-the-fly translator to
translate our web pages into either, French, German or Spanish.

What this service does is take a web page as you see it and
grab the text from the page, translates it from English to
another language and re-inserts the text back into the same
web page. It's quite amazing and we think it might help
some of our visitors understand and navigate our web site
better.

We kindly ask our members who speak or read these languages
to try out this feature on some demo pages we have set up.
You can view them by going to:

Dust Collectors Category, Links Bridge Page
http://www.powderandbulk.com/air/dustcollectors1.htm

Dust Collectors Links Page
http://www.powderandbulk.com/air/dustcollectors.htm

The Translator button is located at the bottom of the page in
the case of the two links pages on dust collectors and in the
navigation bar on the right hand side of the newsletter archive
page.

We have found that once you click on a link to another
page, say you are visiting a company's web site, the
translator continues to translate pages as you move along
through the web site.

Tell us what you think about this technology. Would it be
helpful to you or someone you know? Should we implement it
throughout our web site? Let me know by sending an email
to me, personally at: mailto:jtaylor@powderandbulk.com

Thanks,
Joe Taylor

USDA Dairy Approved Sifter/Classifier
------------------------------------------------------------

Nu-Con Equipment sifter is able to provide higher throughputs
per square inch of screen than styles that use a circular
sifting action. Screens are lighter than conventional designs
and can be changed quickly, without tools and by one person
in just a few minutes. Design is also very gentle to material.
Many installations are currently up and running with agglomerated
materials where product degradation is unacceptable.

Hinged covers at inlet and outlet and an extra large access
port for cleaning simplify routine inspection and maintenance.
A wide range of inlet and outlet diameters are available to
accommodate virtually any application.

Single screen and multi-deck models are available with screen
apertures from 0.3 mm and larger. Longitudinal screen tightening
increases screen longevity, flatness and assures a uniform
aperture over the entire surface.

Nu-Con Equipment specializes in sanitary USDA /3A applications.

Omegaslate Increases Production Capacity
------------------------------------------------------------

Wear resistance engineers Omegaslate have doubled their
advanced ceramics grinding capacity from 380 mm diameter to
760 mm diameter.

This enhanced capacity enables the refurbishment and up-grading
of larger bore extruder barrels, valves and pumps used for the
processing of highly abrasive and corrosive minerals, metals
and minerals filled plastics. Also, the larger capacity has
allowed Omegaslate to increase the size range of it's abrasion
and corrosion resistant high temperature gas cooling equipment
that facilitates the fast cooling of 1000 degrees high velocity
abrasive and corrosive gas streams.

Mr. Roy needs to cool his soda ash down:

Kindly note that we are working for a Soda Ash manufacturing
unit who have planned for replacements of some of their Redler
type En-Masse conveyors handling soda ash. They also aim at
providing cooling system to the conveyor for cooling the soda
ash from 200 C to 80-85 C while it is conveyed to a distance
of 55 meters. The conveyor capacity is 20 tph ( Tonnes per
hour), linear speed is 16 m/ min. HP 15. The conveyor trough
is Carbon steel sheet. However we intend to provide SS 316
sheet for the bottom and side wall of the conveyor casing.

Internals and top cover may remain CS. We are developing schemes
for jacket cooling and the conveyor will be procured and installed
accordingly with our assistance and supervision.

The existing conveyor is 18 inch wide, which is planned to
be replaced now.

Kindly favor us by providing a budgetary quote . Alternatively,
we may also consider Bulk solid plate type cooler (Heat Exchanger)
to be placed between two conveyors. The relevant details and
budgetary prices may be indicated with contact Email and address
of the interested suppliers.

Mr. Decru wants to produce dust-free metallic powders:

What is the best method for the production of non ferrous
metallic non dusting, free flowing powder in the form of
granules or pellets? I have tried several techniques on
lab scale which are ok but on semi industrial scale,
extrusion does not work well.

How can I improve this?

Mr. Adsero needs a change for his pneumatic system:

I'm interested in the technology and equipment to replace
the moist transport air in a pneumatic coal conveying system
with "new" dry air. I have 20" pipe moving coal "dust" at
325 lb./min. I would like to "siphon" off the moist air and
"insert" the dry air in-line.

Is this possible?

Mr. McCoy wants an inexpensive filling machine:

We make powder bacterial products that are sold in 16 oz.
jars, 4lb, 10lb, and 25lb buckets, and 50 and 100lb fiber
drums I am looking for an inexpensive machine to do bulk
filling and weighing for this operation.

I am sure we give so much product away every year due to
inconsistencies in the scales we use A 16-24 oz. jar will
hold about one pound of all of our different products 3-4'
tallx3-4' wide and the drums are 21x18 I think.

Mr. Wellington needs help with dumping and cleaning drums:

We are currently bulk hand loading an auger metering system
combining this 75 micron carbon with five other chemicals in
a medical device.

Can anyone point me (I'm new in this field as you can tell)
toward some handling equipment that can allow us to more
effectively and cleanly move the material from the 40# drums
to our hoppers?

Thank you in advance.
