House of Music: May 2024 concert highlights

For young and old alike – the Haus der Musik, Wien Holding Museum, offers many exciting concert experiences in May 2024.

Live on Stage: Kara Rose
Kara Rose is a 25-year-old singer-songwriter from Glasgow, Scotland. With soulful reflection, Cara explores what it means to navigate life as a young woman in such uncertain times. He has won fans of all ages while honing his craft in Glasgow's concert halls. Don't hesitate as Cara's direct, passionate and insightful lyrics are Glaswegian and deal with themes of love, life and her place in the world. On Wednesday, May 22, 2024, Kara Rose will perform at Haus der Musik at 8 p.m.

Gernot Kranner, Bernhard Fibich & Klassik Cool!: Children's Concerts
Singer, actor, writer, director and famous “Professor Abronsius” from the musical “Dance of the Vampires”, Gernot Graner, will perform “Pinocchio” for a young audience on Sunday, May 5, 2024 at 11 am. A musical journey of discovery about growing up – full of education, excitement and humor.

In his concert program “Best of Bernhard Fippich”, Bernhard Fippich sings hits from “Guttelmuttel und Gesbrüdel”, “Kshamster Diner”, “Sonnenschein und Regen”, “Anna's Birthday” together with the Bernhard Fippich children. There will be children and adults. Sunday, May 19 in concert at 3:30 p.m. Children of all ages are welcome.

Classic cool! Along with the concert “Hans and the Beanstalk,” the Haus der Musik presents a concert for children ages 2 and up on Sunday, May 5 at 3:30 p.m. Fairy tales, music and traditional storytelling evoke vivid inner images and are great fun for even young children. Rhythm games, sing-alongs, musical puzzles ensure a complete experience. Another concert will be held at the Haus der Musik on Sunday, May 26 at 3:30 p.m. “How the Elephant Got His Trunk” is a concert for children ages 2 to 6, based on Rudyard Kipling's story of the same name. After the concert, curious children can also try out the instruments.

Note: With the exclusive Children's Club card for the House of Music, all children receive free entry to the museum for a year and reduced tickets to children's concerts – just 19 euros a year!
