VIENNA (PK) – The last two days of regular hearings of the Red-Blue Commission on Abuse of Power will take place next week. The audit committee’s agenda includes audit reports on academic leave and shortage of skilled workers. In the Foreign Policy Committee, MEPs discussed the recently submitted Foreign and European Policy Statement 2022 with Alexander Schallenberg.

On the occasion of Europe Day, the President of the National Council, Wolfgang Sobotka, and the Executive President of the European Commission, Wolfgang Bokensberger, invite you to the ceremony. Europe Day is celebrated every year for peace and unity in Europe. In this year’s election year – 70 years after the foundation stone for today’s EU – EU Commissioner Johannes Hahn and Federal Chancellor Karl Nehhammer are speakers at the event. 6:00 PM:

This time, the event series “The Art of Dialogue: Literature in Parliament” will focus on the precursors and role of women in the development of the Jewish upper bourgeoisie in Central Europe. Historian, writer and cultural manager Marie-Thérèse Arnbaum, author, Jewish genealogist and entrepreneur Georg Koukush discuss special discussion questions about women who fought for women’s rights in the Jewish middle class from the mid-19th century.
